News About the Site
10/12/2019 Book info page now correctly links to the book copy's previous owners.
Note! Currently Bookshelf works best on Safari, Wechat, Chrome, and Firefox. If you encounter any problems while on the site, try refreshing the page.
2/23/2020 Bookshelf has been updated to version 0.66.
Bookshelf is being developed by a small team of three people in Chengdu, Sichuan. It has been in development early 2018.
Our team consists of two English teachers and a graphic designer.
The Bookshelf project aims to make it easier for kids to learn a foreign language by building a platform for fully voiced childrens books.
We also want to make it easier for kids who live outside their country of origin to have access to reading material in their own language, especially children displaced by armed conflict.
Thirdly, we have made a web page for putting your own digital book together. Log in and go to your workshop to see how easy it is!
